  • [COLOR PROFILE] - Burgundy Gloss features a deep, wine-red base with areas of lighter, almost pinkish tones blending at the edges. The high-gloss finish gives the surface a reflective, glassy appearance. Subtle variations in color add depth and movement to the glaze.
  • CONE 5–6 MID-FIRE - Formulated for mid-fire kilns at cone 5 and cone 6 (about 2167–2232°F). Always fire in a calibrated pottery kiln, never a kitchen oven, so your results match the swatch.
  • GLOSSY, SEMI-TRANSLUCENT FINISH - Fires to a glossy shine that lets some of the clay body show through, so color deepens where the glaze pools over edges, carving and texture.
  • READY TO BRUSH & BLEND - Ready to brush straight from the jar. Blend with colors in the same series to make new glaze colors, or layer it with other glazes for new effects.
  • ART MATERIAL - Conforms to ASTM D-4236 art materials standard. Suitable for surfaces that come into contact with food or drink when fired to the specified cone on the product label. Crazing, pinholing or blistering makes a surface unsuitable; test your own clay and firing.
