  • A MUST-HAVE FOR BEGINNER & EXPERT POTTERS & CERAMIC ARTISTS - Transform your pottery with our premium wax resist. Achieve intricate patterns & sharp designs effortlessly, ensuring your pottery stands out with artistic flair. Our pottery wax resist is ideal for various techniques including sgraffito & detailed brushwork, our wax resist for pottery is a great companion for every stage of your ceramic journey, from shaping to firing, enhancing your creations with unmatched creativity and finesse.
  • HOW WAX RESIST WORKS - Apply wax resist on the bottoms of pots and jar lids to repel liquid glaze, keeping resting surfaces entirely bare so they never melt and fuse to the kiln shelves. You can also paint with wax to create stunning negative space patterns.
  • BRUSH-ON WAX - A smooth, fluid wax for brushing broad areas such as feet and lids, or painting designs. On greenware, wax a pattern and sponge around it to carve depth into the surface.
  • CLEANER BRUSHES, CLEANER FEET - Dip your brush in soapy water or fabric softener before waxing so it washes out easily. Let the wax dry fully, then sponge off any glaze droplets before firing.
  • ART MATERIAL - Conforms to ASTM D-4236 art materials standard.
  • CONSCIENTIOUSLY MANUFACTURED - At Penguin Pottery, our core values are simple: manufacture responsibly in the USA, craft exceptional products, and support the pottery community by donating 1% of our sales to school programs, community centers, and disaster relief for artists.
  • LIFETIME WARRANTY - Penguin Pottery products are backed by our Lifetime Warranty. If you have any issues, we will give you a refund or replace your product. See warranty & support section for more information.
